The Rand Light Infantry Association was formed to:

	foster comradeship and esprit de corps amongst all members of the Rand Light Infantry
	uphold and carry on the traditions of the Regiment
	promote and protect the interests of members and of the Regiment
	offer opportunities of social intercourse amongst members of the Association
	provide a medium of communication between the Association and the Regiment

The Association is quartered in the RLI Club at Regimental Headquarters, The Fort, Kotze Street, Johannesburg.
