| It's april 3rd and i thought i'd update Donna's web site. About four weeks ago I had a meeting with Donna's doctors and they was telling me all they what to do for her and what is being done. Because of all the surgeries she has had she has suffered brain damage. The problem with the is she needs another surgery on her heart. A valve is leaking in her heart and she can't have another surgery because she will not make it through it. April 7th she will be 10 months old. She has had a pacemaker put in and a trache put in also. she has done well with them so far and the medications too. She was just transfered to a trasitional care unit now. She she is not in intensive care anymore. Once I learn how to care for her trache and medicines then she will beable to come home. The bad news is the doctors say they don't know how much longer she will live. They tell me her brain will continue to deteriorate slowley and if her valve leakage gets worst, she will pass on fast but she will not live a full life. They are sending her home to spend as much time as she can with her family untill she is called up stairs to be with other family maembers who have passed. I am not giving up on her. i feel once she is home, she will turn around and more miricals will happen for her. I pray she lives a long happy life with us here at home and can get married and have a life of her own one day. We are praying for a mirical and would like everyone to pray with us. | |||||||

| While Donna is home with us to live the remainning time of her life with us ( which i pray is a long time) I will be trying to work at home with a mail order business so if anyone would like to help us buy requesting a brochure and order from it please do. My address is 3216 lynros drive, saint ann, MO 63074. half of the profits goes in Donna's savings account and half goes to the light bill to keep Donna's machines running. She is being send home with almost all of her machines. Pray for us and pray this home business grows to keep the family's head just above water. I can mail anyone a brochure and a picture of donna to carry on them and share with others and have them pray for her as well. . | |||||||
| We had a meeting with the social worker and the lung specialist and now we have an aprox. date Donna will be home with us. The goal is around Memorial day but before her first birthday which is June 7th. The hospital is helpping me get my electric up to where it needs to be for her machines. As of right now she will have 3 machines: the portable ventalator, feeding machine, and succtoning machine. The hospital is also helpping us get her special stroller to put her machines and Donna in when we need to go places. We know we won't be going out as much as we are use to because Donna isn't as strong as most kids her age. She will get sick very easliy. So mom wiil be home with her most of the time with nurse help and dad will be working. Mom is starting a home internet business to try to help keep bills stable and the families heads above water because we know the light bill will sky rocket when Donna is home because is her machines and it being close to summer time with the a/c. Once mom's website is up and running a link will be added to Donna's web pages for anyone who would like to take a look at the gifts and colectables she is selling. Mom just got her merchant account and credit card machine up and running at home which will help alot. We just got back three pictures from a professional photogragher of Donna in her hospital room and they turned out great. Once i get the scanner up and running I will add them to her pages for all to see how great they are. As i close with this update for this month, I would like everyone to keep there fingers crossed and for those who pray to pray that the family can find a way to get a nice small van to put a ramp on to take Donna places so she isn't always home. |
