World Map Strategy (RM)

This Strategy is best used on a map with water (and fish). RLF_RAMSES wrote this based on "World Map". This has already helped members alot.

The following strategy is based on any World Map game.

Here is a basic strat to help ya boom quickly.

The key is to gather resourses quickly to enable a qucik transisition through the ages. The more villagers the richer + stronger your armies.

There are two methods
1, quick feudal then attack early as you step to castle.
2, slow feudal instant castle & attack as you step to imperial.

I will cover stratagy 2, here & this depends on the map as some vary the amount of resourses you get at the start.

On landing at your chosen spot 2 villagers build 2 docks 2 villagers build 2 houses
when both docks are built dock builders build town centre by wood.
Churn out the number of fishing boats remaining wood allows normally 3 or 4

Instantly churn out villagers on wood every 75 wood build a fishing boat.
Remember to constanly build houses. 1 villager can be used for this & he can be used as a land scout. ( transport boat = sea scout ) number it so you can easily find it without looking.
Build a mill & lumber camp (mill allows quicker castle transition )
you need 500 food to feudal so before 500 stop queing villies & hit feudal.
Instantly at feudal build a blacksmith & market & hit castle.
At this point build galleys to go attack any enemy fishing spots you have found.
& build a barracks to attack land forces.
The aim is to slow down enemy economy not all out war as this can slow you to imperial.
On castle build 3 more town centres by gold / food / wood .
As this allows a real boom you can really expand in castle & at the same time your enemy is fighting off your early attacks & cannot progress.

Build 2 building to advance = university / church then advance to imperial ( remember to research at black smith the technologies of the units you are using so that they are stronger against oponents.

Very simple stratagy but as those who have played me at this it's very effective.
You are in Imperial while your oponent is not even in castle.
