Well, what is that green stuff? Is it really green? JPL imaged this area with filters L2, L5, and L7. That is not optimal for true color, L3 would have been closer to red than L2. L2 is in the near IR. Marvin Lipford colorized these images, and I adjusted his image to what I thouhgt was true color, using other true color images which include the pan cam color target as a color reference, and matching the color tones to the true color image. So the path from raw data to this image is a little bit circuitous, but you can see from other true color images that this is a good match.
