Christmas in the Caribbean
This is going to be the webpage for December and January.  So far all is going well.  It is really neat to see 28C and lights on the palm trees.
Top Left is Clifton Pier, on the far west shoe of the Island.  The Community Church created this sanctuary of 12 carved figures.  Above are 3500 Red flags placed on World AIDS Day to represent those who have died in the Bahamas.  That night we went to a benefit concert.
Lori came for a visit.  These are some beach pictures.  Lots of sun and fun this day. Right is Traveller's Rest.  It's a nice little food place with a view of the ocean. Local dishes.
Jollification Craft Festival- We went to this fest at the National Trust Gardens.  Mostly it was overpriced Christmas crafts.  We did however find some fantastic Greek food.  This is Nicole eating a Gyros.  Later we found the free alcohol sample section and it was a busy section.
This is Atlantis all Decked out for Christmas.  After checking that out we went for supper on Paradise Island to Zio Gigi's. The dish was excellent.  I'd avoid the mushroom appitizer, it was a bit of a rip.
Deb and Mike came to visit for a few days.  We went to the beach and ate sushi from indigo's all week, it was fantastic!  Above is a local resort we spent the day at (notice the wings sauce on my face, classic) To the left is Indigo's and to the right is us at the beach Dec 21 (pssst, that's the first day of Winter...haha)
  Our Christmas Tree
Dolphins and Florida Keys-During our break we went to the Miami Dophins game, it rained the whole game but we had a good time. (Phins are the worst team I've ever seen play.  The next day we went to the outlet mall and shopped for 8 hours, we got tonnes of deals.  Carino's is the place we ate, amazing.  The third day we drove down the Florida Keys, it was really a beautiful drive, the red Mustang convertable made the trip really cool.  We hiked a state park then sped back to Miami for dinner at Longhorn.
