June Murphy wasn't my biological grandmother, but I was closer to her than my other grandmothers. I loved her more. I adored her.  She had   six children of her own with several grandchildren. I don' t think ANY of them were able to see just how great she really was. She was generous and loving. I loved her so much and consider her a guardian angel in my life.  Two distinct things I remember about Grandma are that she used Caress body soap and she'd make cinnamon rolls whenever I went with her to babysit.  Those two smells take me right back to her.  She and I would watch All My Children (soap opera) together. She and I would also watch Family Feud and we would compete with each other to see who'd get the answers first.  I remember how'd she turn her nose up at how Richard Dawson would kiss everyone all the time. She thought it was so gross. I'd just laugh.  I miss her all of the time. Whenever I'm lucky enough to have a child of my own I will name her Alexandra June. June, is of course,for Grandma.
