West Virginia Winter Trip December 1999
This first pic is at the top of an old logging road (Dogway Run) on the border of the Cranberry wilderness. My dog Beowulf was playing in the snow while I was trying to figure out were to camp.
The impending storm hadn' t hit yet.
We hiked into the woods a bit and found a good place to camp:
The tent was a cool Xmas gift from my girlfriend, Bonnie. It was an awesome winter cabin! (The storm was about 2 min. away!).
Then the storm hit. The fuzziness is due to the raging snow!
Beowulf has his head down against the wind.
We bugged out the next day before it was too late for the jeep to plow through the snow. It was fun!
