Ya Gotta Have One performed well at the competition.   In the first round, we defeated our opponents by a narrow margin. As the k value in the surgical tubing began to lessen, we had trouble getting the distance that we needed.   We then proceded to prop the launcher up on two sandbags.   The change in angle, about ten degrees, had just enough effect on the trajectory to put one in the target area.

The second round prooved more difficult, however; our opponents, Wo-Wo-Wo-Man, had one of the best designs on the grounds.   Knowing that they perform well at the fifty yard distance (they had nearly a perfect record there), we moved the target in to the twenty-five yard range.   They hit well up close, too.   Ya Gotta Have One began to have problems.   The balloons began to pop (four out of ten) on launch, and the ones that did not just barely missed the target zone.   We tried frantically to get things going again, but our tempo was lost, just like that match.
