| The Werkok Hospital ( Phase 1 ) project included the beginning of a new staff living compound (see below) and a new steel building for surgery. This will be the best surgery option for about a 200 mi. radius to this area. Phase 2 will include a full service hospital over the next few years. The first surgery (of 20 surgeries performed in May '06 ) is pictured above. My mission was to initiate the project and teach locals to help in the construction process. |
