Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu

Above is a really great pic of Kenshin performing Hiten Mitsurugi moves.
You can click on it to see the big picture.

Ryu Tsui Sen
A technique used to defeat Kohe, the fake Battousai. It is a powerful sword strike from above.

Ryu Sou Sen

The user of this technique continuously attacks the opponent's vital points. It is used against Sano in their fight.

Hi Ryu Sen

The sword is launched out of the saya by the left hand, hitting a vital point of the opponent. It is used as a longer range attack. The fight with Raijuta and Chou show that it can become very useful when you have a wounded right arm or only half a sword left. (But in the anime, I think Kenshin uses Ryu Tsui Sen to defeat Raijuta)

Ryu Kan Sen Tsumuji

This technique is used against Senkaku, one of Shishio's follower. The user leaps up and strikes at the opponent's neck. It's very fatal, but since Kenshin uses a sakaba, Senkaku survives the attack.

Sou Ryu Sen

The Battou Jutsu is designed to kill the opponent with a single blow, so if the opponent manages to avoid it, it usually leaves an opening for the opponent to strike back. This move solves the problem by using the saya. If the sword misses, the saya follows and hit the opponent's vital point. Used against Jine.

The Ikazuchi variant of Sou Ryu Sen

This move is contrary to Sou Ryu Sen. It leads with the saya and follows with the sword strike. Hiko uses this technique against Kenshin when he goes back to learn the rest of the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu. (And Kenshin falls for it)

Dou Ryu Sen

The user strikes the sword above the ground and earth is lifted with its pressure. It can hinder the opponent's concentration or can even be used as an direct attack against less skilled opponents as earth and rocks fly up and hit them.

Kuzu Ryu Sen

This move strikes all the opponent's nine vital points at the same time. It is 'undefendable' unless counteracted with the Ama Kakeru Ryuno Hirameki. This technique isn't designed for training or battle (although it has proven very useful in fights), but to test if the student is ready to carry on the name of Hiko Seijuro. This is the move Hiko's most skilled at and it is what he uses to defeat Fuji. (This technique is actually 'avoidable' to Soujiro's super speed, and actually 'defendable' to Enishi's strange sword skills, however, it's still a very powerful move)

Ama Kakeru Ryuno Hirameki

This is the Ougi, the greatest of the Hiten Mitsurugi techniques. In other sword drawing techniques, the user usually steps out his right leg in order to avoid cutting off his own leg. But by using his left leg, the user of this technique can increase the speed of his sword to two or three times its original. The move is very dangerous that only optimistic people with a strong will to live can use it. It is very quick that a void is created after it is done (and considering its long name, I feel sorry for Kenshin that he has to yell all those words in only a split second). This technique is the final test for students. If the student cannot master it, he would be killed with the master's Kuzu Ryu Sen. But if he can, the master would be killed by its powerful force. But in Kenshin's case, nobody has to die because his sakaba is not that lethal. And by the way, this technique is used to defeat everybody... I mean a great lot of people.

I know I haven't got all the Hiten Mitsurugi moves here. I would really appreciate if you mail me and share your knowledge. ^_^ Now please let me take you back.
