At First Sight: Aoshi and Misao have known each other since Misao was just a little girl. He, then, saw her as a child, and she saw him as her hero. The first time they meet after Aoshi left Misao in Okina's care years ago, Misao has already grown into a young woman, and Aoshi is already badly obsessed with killing Himura Battousai. It is a very sad meeting indeed, with Aoshi injuring Okina severely and telling Misao he never wants to see her again. This incident is very painful for both of them. Misao, who has seen two people she loves most killing each other, and Aoshi, who has to live with the guilt, after he finally comes to his senses.
