OTHER ACADEMIC EXPERIENCES:

1. Syllabus Modification:
I was one of the members of the committee of courses and studies of the Department of social work which is subject to updating and modifying the Curricula of B.S.S. (honors), M.S.S., and M.Phil/Ph.D. syllabuses every year.

2. Fieldwork Supervision:
From 1997 to 2003, I supervised both B.S.S. (honors) and M.S.S. level students in their field practicum as an internal (departmental) supervisor. In the last years, my field practicum concentration was basically related to Urban and Rural Community Development programs, and Women Development programs. I usually supervised the internees whose were assigned to have their fieldwork in the related fields/agencies.

3. Group Research Supervision:
I supervised a B.S.S. (honors) level group research project entitled: ?Problems of Working women in Sylhet City: A Survey Study? while I was a faculty member of the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.

                  most outstanding academic performance in Gender and Development Studies.

2001:          Received Agrani Bank Gold Medal (certificate and prize) from the University of Rajshahi
                 for  placing 1st position in order of merit list in MSS degree among the examinee of
                 Social Science Faculty.

2000:         Received University award (certificate and prize) from the University of Rajshahi for
                 placing 1st   position in order of merit list in MSS degree among the departmental
                 examinee.

1999:         Received university award (certificate and prize) from the University of Rajshahi for
                 placing 1st   position in order of merit list in BSS degree among the departmental
                 examinee.

1999:        Received Agrani Bank Gold Medal (certificate and prize) from the University of Rajshahi
                for placing 1st position in order of merit list in BSS degree among the examinee of Social
                Science Faculty.
