mm: Not really, the internet world may be a part of the real world. But no, it is not the real world.
Q: Can I find friendship, I mean true friendship, in the internet world?
mm: Sure, but it is more like having a pen pal in the old days.
Q: I see. But a pen pal can still tell lies.
mm: See, what is lacking in the internet world is the feeling of the other senses such as touch, sight, smell, etc. And what you have really is just your imagination, which isn't real. But you do go thruough the emotion and that's real.
Q: Yup.
mm: It is like watching a moive, you go through the emotions, it is fun. But that's about it.
Q: True emotion, wasted in a fake world, got back only hurt.
mm: Yes, your emotions are real. The hurt you feel is real, not fake. If you can feel it, it is real. It may not be real to the others, but it is real to you and that's important.
Q: Just me real---others fake their emotions.
mm: They fake their emotions? You would never know. But who cares. Your emotions are real and it is good to go through the emotions in life as the saying goes "it is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all."
There ain't such a thing as an unreal (wrong) feeling. Sure you might get fooled to get such a feeling, be it love, hurt, or what have you, but the feeling is real---pas de fake!
