Who created the earth?

mm: The earth wasn't "created".

Q: Then are you saying that the Bible is false?

mm: I am not saying that, but if the Bible is contradicting with reality as I know it, then yes. You know about the Big Bang?

Q: Yes, I know about the Big Bang.

mm: The Big Bang sprang up the earth.

Q: The Big Bang is just a theory accepted by scientists and it is not a fact.

mm: Yes, it is not a fact; it is only my opinion that it is a fact.

Q: So you make things up as you go long?

mm: No.

(few moments later.....)

mm: If you are reading this and you get what I mean then you know that all texts (including the Bible) are only opinions. Even when someone writes it is a fact: it is only his/her opinion that it is a fact.

Q: When I say it is raining outside, it is a fact.

mm: It may be a fact to you, but not to me, it isn't.

Q: I cannot prove it to you, but it is a fact.

mm: If I accept it as a fact, it is only my opinion that it is a fact.

What's a fact if I cannot see it, hear it, teate it, smell it, touch it or feel it? If I cannot directly experience it, whatever it is, it exists only in my imagination.

This one is probably hard to swallow for most of you: We are taught that there is an objective world and we, as subjective beings, are just observers experiencing this objective world. But don't forget that this "objective world" is conceived in our subjective minds: It is our subjective minds that created this objective world in the first place. So if you insist that there is an objective world out there, don't forget that it is only your subjective point of view that it is out there.

So in essence, your mind created the earth.
