Note: This quesiton is similar to the quesiton "what happens after death." Perhaps the person who asked me that question was really interested in knowing what happens afterlife.
mm: Simple answer: nothing, because "you" won't be there.
Q: What's there, then.
mm: See, what "you" have as life is awareness; when "you" die, "you" have unawareness. "you" would be unawared of whatever that is "there".

mm: Where are "you" when "you" are asleep?
Q: In my bed.
mm: That's a good answer, but "you" can only answer this question now when you are awake. Ask your spouse to ask you the same question when you are asleep and see what answer you would give.
Q: I don't have a spouse.
When "you" are asleep, you body, sure, is in the bed. But where are "you"? "You" have a body and "you" have a mind, who are "you" that is having all these wonderful things---body and mind?
