| 3D Studio Max: In today’s world, computer generated imagery (CGI) is all around us, on television, movie screens, and even in magazines and newspapers. This introductory course was intended to span all capabilities of 3D Studio Max; the most widely used commercial 3D rendering and animation package in the world. The field of computer graphics has grown from a specialty area of study for computer scientists to a mainstream career that many people are striving towards. In many ways, using a program such as 3D Studio Max is much like videotaping a room full of objects that you construct. After all of the objects have been created and positioned in the scene you can choose from a library of predefined materials such as plastic, wood, stone, or other material and apply them to the objects. You can create any amount of cameras through which to record and view the scene. To further the realism of the scene, we can add a multiple of creative lighting effects.
