| The Software Engineering program at UAT taught me fundamental concepts and theories behind computer software and hardware. I have become adept in a range of computer technology. College of Software Engineering curricula promoted ongoing research and development, as well as teamwork in a technology environment. Software Engineering courses focused on the fundamentals of programming concepts, computer systems, hardware elements and operating systems. I explored programming languages and operating systems in order to develop an understanding of how computers work. Additional topics included network security, business software development and the Internet. This associate degree in Software Engineering allowed me to graduate with a blend of skills in application development, object-oriented programming, database programming, network engineering, network defense and graphical programming. |
