The Boeing Company

RECOMMENDATION OF RICHARD F. WOOD

FROM: Grady A. Loudermilk
  Dept. Manager
  Apache Production

DATE:

I have known Richard F. (Rich) Wood since 1994. Rich was employed by McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems through a contract agency for 30 months. He was converted to permanent employee status in June, 1997. During the six-year period, Rich reported to me directly for approximately one year.

In that assignment, Rich was responsible for build up and installation of aircraft mechanical and hydraulic systems and sub-systems. A majority of his duties involved flight control systems. Rich demonstrated a high degree of technical knowledge and expertise and distinguished himself as one of the top performers in my employ and remained there throughout his tenure in that assignment. I found Rich to be honest and straight forward in his approach to his work and professional relationships. He earned the respect of his peers and management alike.

Rich received a promotion into the Quality Control Organization in October, 1996. In that assignment, Rich was responsible for final inspection of electrical, mechanical, structural and hydraulic components, systems and sub-systems at the Final Assembly level. He carried out these duties with the highest degree of integrity. Rich remained in that assignment for 27 months. In January, 1999, Rich was promoted into his current assignment in the Process Analyst Test Organization.

Rich has held positions of increasing responsibility within the Boeing Corporation and his approach has been energetic and enthusiastic. He conducts himself in a professional manner at all times and I have found his performance and actions to be of the highest ethical standards. He has proven himself to be extremely reliable and dependable. I have every confidence in his abilities and I would not hesitate to recommend him for any position within his field of knowledge.

I would be more than happy to provide additional information if required.

Sincerely,
Grady Loudermilk
