It's hard to imagine that I first heard U2 nearly a quarter of a century ago. From the early days of 'Boy' And 'October' this band seemed special and in 1983 they released the classic 'War' and 'Live In Red Rocks' albums and started to hit the big time. The following year 'The Unforgettable Fire' was released and U2 were in the big league, each album was bigger than the next, 1987 brought us the joyous 'The Joshua Tree' with a sring of classic hit singles. The '90s came and U2 embraced the new decade with the groundbreaking and experimental 'Achtung Baby'-this was proceeded by the flash and spectacular Zoo Station World tour in 1992/93.As the 90's ended and the noughties began U2 held their own as one of the biggest and most exciting bands on the planet. In 2004 they released  the 'How To Dismantle A Bomb' album which spawned 4 hit singles and a huge sold out world tour. Here's a selection of some of their finest songs and performances, enjoy.
