JOURNEY-the Gods of 80's melodic rock |
|
The 1980's was agreat time for mainly due to the different sub-genres that were present in the scene, glam rock, your classis rock such as Priest and Maiden, hair bands such as Poison, Bon Jovi and Crue, the huge thrash scene.My favourite though from about 1986 when Journey released the siminal RAISED ON RADIO, was the AOR and melodic rock scene.Lead by Journey the scene grew and grew with an endless list of great bands such as Giuffria, Autograph, Strangeways, Jeff Paris, Treat, Alien, Loverboy, Witness etc.
