Dear friends,
It is amazing how quickly our lives changed. On February 27th we became the proud parents of twin girls: Dianne and Simone. After an eventful pregnancy, the girls were born 2 days before the 40th week. We spent 5 days in hospital for mom to recover and then came home. Our house was decorated, by the neighbors, with 2 storks and a clothesline full of baby clothes and diapers. We had a few good days, with relatively much sleep.
Unfortunately, Janine became ill and had to go back to the hospital for a few days. The girls went with her and were well taken care off by the nurses in the hospital. We all came home on Tuesday, and are trying to get the girls organized, so that mom and dad get the most rest in between feedings. Especially mom needs her rest, recovering from the C-section and infections takes more than we expected.
We will try to put pictures on the web page regularly, but free time is an issue. Just keep checking regularly.
