I’m setting aside this rant for news. I have undergone an improvement in situation. Just about a week ago I was bored, unemployed, and 900 miles from my girl. Today I am bored, employed, and 900 miles from my girl. Hmm. 1 out of 3. Not great in those terms, I’ll admit. On the other hand in baseball batting 1 out of 3 (or 333 out of the 1000) would really kick ass. Ha! I love perspective, In moderation of course. I have to be honest. My job looks awful. Monotonous and largely thankless. Not much freedom. As far as I can tell this is the nightmare job that everyone fears and avoids. Moreover I really think I am going to enjoy it. Bring on the boredom and mindlessness!
