I know that we’ve all heard about how cool the internet is. And also how wonderful and non central the web is. So I’ll just say right on. Then there’s a bunch of people who are really annoyed because someone on the web is always trying to sell them something. I have to be honest. This doesn’t even bother me that much. Since the people trying to sell me stuff have access to my credit history, FBI file, school records, employment records, not to mention a full list of every site that I’ve ever visited and everything that I’ve ever bought while online they occasionally actually try to sell me something that I might be remotely interested in, which is scary but nice. Aside from which the ads aren’t really that distracting to me. I have just one question: Is there some group of deluded marketers out there who really think that they are going to sell stuff by giving their potential customers epileptic seizures? Look guys I’m not going to need that miracle diet thing because I’m getting plenty of exercise twitching, rolling around on the floor, and foaming at the mouth.
