I am beginning a search for truth. I had previously abandoned this search in favor of a good fantasy. This I found. But I have become disillusioned. My announcement is this: I am looking for true believers. If you are a true believer I want you to let me know. What do you believe in? I want to know. I�m not asking for proof or for justification, although those would be nice too.If you are confused by my question, and care, rent Bull Durham and find the scene where Susan asks Kevin what he believes in. He gives an answer that kicks ass to a phenomenal extent. Why do I want to know what people believe? Moreover what do I believe? And who the hell am I to pose a big fat open question that I haven�t the guts to answer myself? In answer to the first question: I am convinced that you can�t really go all Cartesian and derive everything. Therefore I think (or maybe just hope) that everybody has stuff that they believe from which they can work their logic (if they have any) or whatever passes for logic. I want to understand people. Therefore I want to know this stuff. In answer to the second question: I�ll tell you later. And in answer to the third question: I�m a punk-ass. Deal with it. Or ignore me. Most people do.
