| The City of Hamilton's Public Parks are open for detecting except for the following: Dundurn Park and Harvey Park. These two parks form a continuous green belt from Strathcona St. to the Desjardins Canal. Dundurn Park surrounds the famous Dundurn Castle and Harvey Park stretches from Dundurn Park to near the Burlington City Line. Historically, they form Burlington Heights which is the site the British forces departed for the Battle of Stoney Creek. |
