Niagara Falls is world renowed for its geography and history.  You're always welcome in the "Honeymoon Capital" but don't bring your detector to the following list of sites in Niagara Falls and the surrounding area:
-  Old Fort Erie
-  The entire Niagara River Parkway from Ft. Erie to Niagara on the Lake*
-  All Niagara Parks Commission Public Parks and Historic Sites
-  The entire town of Niagara on the Lake and the Village of Queenston**

*The parkway is a continous greenbelt that follows the Niagara River from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario.  The parkway features numerous turnouts to small picnic grounds and much larger parks with historic or natural significance.  Don't detect in any of these parks or picnic areas!  This restriction includes sites such as Victoria Park which borders Niagara Falls, The Floral Clock, Queenston Heights Park, Dufferin Islands,
The Lilac Garden, Butterfly Conservatory, Knightsbridge Park (Chippewa), McFarlane House, Whirlpool Rapids and the Niagara Glen.
**  The town of Niagara on the Lake was voted one of Canada's prettiest towns and its reputation is well deserved.  However, the entire town is off limits to Detector hobbyists.  That includes all parks, historical sites, baseball or soccer fields, school yards  and any public greenspace.  Also off limits is the Village of Queenston and the Town of Virgil which is part of Niagara on the Lake.  Stay away from the parks surrounding Fort George and Navy Hall too.
