ANATOLY

[At this point a member of his delegation comes over to Anatoly and asks to speak with him. They walk away together - leaving Florence alone with her thoughts.]

ARBITER
Then Anatoly makes his anger perfectly clear.
[Anatoly pushes his way between Svetlana and Molokov, Svetlana heads off unnoticed to find Florence.]
ANATOLY AND MOLOKOV
ANATOLY
What the hell do you think your doing? Why are you trying to make Trumper throw the match?
MOLOKOV
I'm making certain that everything turns out just as we want it.
ANATOLY
Do you really think Trumper's going to believe this story about Florence's father? You know what he thinks about Russians - he'll never agree to it.
MOLOKOV
All I have to do is convince him that his throwing the match will guarantee the release of her father, and that in gratitude for his sacrifice she is bound to take him back as her lover - then the title is ours. It's as simple as that.
ANATOLY
If I can�t win in my own right I don�t want to win at all. There�s no glory in wining the title by cheating!
