JORAJURIA's GEOMORPHOLOGY

This is a site under construction (started by june '99!). In the forthcoming months links to relevant articles concerning geomorphosites, at the begining, and digital geomorphology, later, will be added

I am a Geologist by the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California Sur; in the forthcoming months (2008) it is likely that I get registered in a MSc. Program in geomorphology and landscape.

Main topics to be dealt with on this page will be the ones closely related with my thesis work (Geomorphosites' characterization and the links between tourism and geomorphology), my main interests (Geological risk reduction and identification, surficial processes, planetary geology, arid lands geomorphology and lacustrine geomorphology) and my job (Remote sensing, GIS and fieldwork applied to cartographic updating and prediction). I have also translated some articles (into Spanish) from the Journal of Geoscience Education, so, if I manage to get the proper permissions from the editors you might as well find them posted here in the near future. The same applies to a chapter on geomorphosites I wrote for a book.
