I want to share some thoughts with you, if you have a heart to hear them.
I believe the universe and everything in it was designed and created by the one and only, eternal, living, intelligent, spritual, personal, loving, infinite, perfect, omniscient, omnipresent, all powerful, just, holy, and true God. (Words fail to describe God; God is ineffable, indescribable)
I believe God created humans in the image of God and God pronounced it 'very good.'
I believe the very first two humans were tempted and deceived and disobeyed God.
I believe that ever since, all humans have fallen short of God's perfect will by rebelling and choosing our own way (sin) rather than seeking God's guidance and obeying his will for us.
Now, here comes
The GOOD NEWS!
(The BEST NEWS! The Incredible, Unimaginable, Most Wonderful NEWS!)
I believe that God's perfect plan makes provision for humans to be reconciled with God.
I believe that since the fall of the human race, God promised and foretold of a Savior (Messiah, Christ, Anointed One.)
I believe God came to earth as a man called Yeshua (Jesus), the Messiah, the Christ, the Savior and Redeemer of the human race.
I believe Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life and willingly gave himself up to die. He allowed himself to be sacrificed to pay the price for all the sins of all humans for all time.
I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ rose victorious over death.
I believe that since Jesus paid the price of our sins, all we need do is accept his gift of life. God's grace and mercy makes this possible. Grace, that God gives us what we don't (and can't) deserve, fellowship with God. Mercy, that God does not give us what we deserve, eternal separation from God, who is love, light, and life.
