| The Moonlight frosts the World below, And Bathes it in a Slivery Glow. Fireflies dance & spin alight, To Chase away the gloom of night. So from Wisest Owl, to Spirited Hawk, From Little Wren, to Playful Lark. All the Beasts, the Fox & Bear, With Gentle Deer, and Clever Hare. To the Forrest Lord 'pon his Throne of Oak, With Lupine eyes and Midnight Cloak. Have Gathered here in Field and Glen, To Celebrate the Winter's End. For the Time is Their's but Once a Year, When all is Peace and Tranquil here. From Dusk till Dawn the World is theirs, And Each is Free from Worldly Cares. Let None disturb this Holy Dance, Or Break the Spell of Nature's Enchant. For Come the Sun up in the East, The Magic's done, and Truces Cease. Such is the tale One night in May, When All are One...
