Notes for Isaac BROCK

Re: R. Mashburn

Isaac Brock, the son of Fredrick Brock, moved from Pittlyvania Co., VA to Caswell Co. NC in 1777, where he enlisted into the Rev. War. He served as wagonmaster and Press master under the comand of Capt. Daniel W. Clerry in Orangeburg, SC.
Pension records show he moved from NC to SC and back again. On 1789 he bought land on Broad Mouth Creek on the Saluda River in Pendleton, SC from William Reed, but by 1810 had moved back to Buncombe Co., NC where he died.
