1799- Henderson Co., KY Tax List
1800- Adam Sr. left him, "1/3 tract of land I now live on; one calf & cow"
1807- applied for permission to reside in IL
1815- Moved to Miller Co., AR(later Lamar Co., TX)

The first white man to come to Red River is said to have been Adam Lawrence, a Tennessean, who at abt. 1815 was in the section opposite the mouth of the Kiamitia River...Lawrence was a trapper & hunter, probably had no settled habitation. He is said to have been killed by an indisn on the N. side of the river.
