received a McCulloch grant for 202 acres on September 11. Also sold 200 acres land to Henry Eustice McCullough and witnessed by Michael Holt

1797- Will in Guilford Co. NC
Book A:058 dated Sept. 8, 1797 probated Nov.,1798
In the Will, he left to his son Valentine 200 acres on the Alamanche where he lives. He left 412 acres on the waters of Rock Fork and ten shillings to son Adam. The land on which they lived he left to sons John and Luddewick. Other beneficiaries were the children of deceased daughter, Barbary, former wife of Mathias Swing, one Negro woman named Jenny and five shillings each. Daughter Christina, wife of Phillip Albright, one Negro boy named Franck and ten shillings. His daughter Molly, wife of Conrad Hagney, the tract of land on which they lived and ten shillings. His daughter Catherine, wife of Adam Brown, the land where Holman Brown lived. Daughter Eva, wife of Ephraim Burrow, one Negro girl named Nancy and ten shillings. To his wife Barbary, the remaining lands, Negroes, stock, furniture, etc. Witnessed by Samuel Lindsay, John Cooper and John Job, Jr.
