Richard Chandler
Welcome to my website!
About me: I am 24, I was born in Watford, Hertfordshire, UK, and I have worked for the National Autistic Society since January 2007. I have recently completed the CIMA Certificate of Business Accounting course, and plan to start the Managerial level of CIMA in August 2008.
My main hobby is change-ringing (tintinnabulation). I'm also interested in autism (particularly Asperger's syndrome), personal finance, maths / science and orchestral music. I attend services at Leavesden Road Baptist Church in North Watford and help with the Boys' Brigade on term time Friday evenings when I have enough time.
Much of my free time is spent ringing, and being the Treasurer and moderating four email groups for the London Autistic Rights Movement. I joined the Society of Royal Cumberland Youths in 2007, which should increase my scope for peal ringing and developing my expertise in twelve-bell ringing, although I've been too busy recently to take full advantage of this. I rang 34 quarter-peals last year (1 as conductor) and 37 peals (1 as conductor). As of 06/07/2008, my lifetime totals so far were: 66 peals (1 as conductor) and 285 quarter-peals (29 as conductor).
