Robert Jake "R.J." Landis

About Me:
Hi!  My name is Robert Jake Landis.  RJ for short.  I'm a student at UNR and studying to be a Computer Engineering.  Not quite sure why, but I was told that they make an awesome amount of money.  Good Reason?  Well, I played rugby for UNR, but quit because they're just not my crowd. I'm currently a full time student and working at the JTSU (student union) as a web designer. Welcome to RJ Landis' Webpage.  Thanks for trying to learn more about me!  Have A Rice Day!

"It's All in the Family"
I love sports!  More specifically, I love football.  I am a die hard St. Louis Rams fan.  All NFL interest revolves around the Rams.  For example, the only reason I had interest in the Carolina Panthers was because Kevin Greene (former Ram) played linebacker there.  Anyway, football has been a big part of my life for the past years of my life.  I was a starting team captain of Basic High Schools Wolfpack.  I received many awards because of my accomplishments including the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame Scholarship.  But football has made me the active person I am today. I am a very active person.  I find pleasure in exercise like sports: i.e. racquetball, basketball, running, weight lifting, bowling (is that a sport?) and the occasional Dance Dance Revolution (that counts as exercise doesnt it?).
I do have a lazy side too.  I love to just kick back and watch movies or listen to music.  Oh yea, Counter-Strike, cant forget that.  It has stolen a lot of my life.   My new interests include clubbing, and snowboarding.  I like to take advantage of the opportunity for that in Reno.  I like to kick it in my spa or chill in a room talking to my friends (preferably the BC.  Theyre the most entertaining).  I love to play pool or drink with my friend Nate who humps the air while watching porn and listening to music.  All in all, I love to kick it with my friends.
Well, I was born in San Diego on May 25, 1982.  I was born into a military family.  My dad, Randolph (a.k.a. Randy), joined the Navy at the age of 17 and served for 20 years.  During his first couple years, he traveled to the Philippines where he met his future long life sweetheart.  Before me, my parents had 2 other kids.  My oldest brother, Bernard (a.k.a. Bernie), is my half brother from my mom and he is 10 years older then me.  He is now living in California as a nurse in a hospital. My other older brother, Joe, lives here in Henderson and works at Tate & Snyder Architects.  Hes a runner but makes damn good money for a delivery boy.  He is 5 years older then me and I have lived with him my whole life (until he moved out last year).  Though we hated each other with that wonderful brotherly love, we eventually matured to be able to withstand each other.  He just currently bought a new house and a 2001 Toyota Celica.  He is living with his love Stephamie (not engaged...YET!)
"Friends???...... FRIENDS!!!!!"
I have lots of friends, but I will only list the important ones that actually mean something to me (the ones that I am closest to).  My best female friend is Angela Baker.  Her and me have been close since 7th grade and grew closer with every year.  Also beginning in the 7th grade, my life long friendship with the Big Clique (BC). They include Landin, Conrad, Nate, and Ricky.  One of my best friends Chris Byrd (part of the D.D.  a.k.a. Deadly Duo) have become very close though our years of playing football and dating foreign exchange students.  He's now in the Marines being all that he can me....or is it one of the few and the proud?  Also, some are my friends in UNR.  The 3rd and 4th floor crew up there.  And I can't leave out the c/o 2001.  U know who u are.  I'd like to send a shout out to my new friends that I made here, Jessie, Lindsey, Teresa, Lauren, Princess, Kelly, Cho, Heather, Bianca, Amber, Kristen and more (no more room).  Much Love!
