• Dragonball is a show that is approximately ten years old. The show is based on Japanese legend. It focuses on humans who learn to fight and channel their energy into a very powerful light attack. Despite its age, the show has only been seen by a handful of Americans on Television. The main character is Goku, a Sayian Warrior. He was sent to earth as a baby to take it over. He latter falls down and hits his head and forgets his objective. He is raised by Son Gohan, who is his Foster Grandfather. He is trained in the martial arts and learns how to channel his energy and fights many adversaries. Some of these adversaries become his friends and help him form the Z Team. The popularity of Dragonball is steadily growing in the US and continues to make new fans every day.
  • Dragonball, Dragonball Z, and Dragonball GT are all Japanese Animes.
  • Dragonball and Dragonball Z were created by Akira Toriyama, but Dragonball GT was not created by Akira Toriyama but was created by Toei Entertainment.
  • Dragonball and Dragonball Z were all translated by Funimation, but all of the DBZ right have been bought by Cartoon Network.
  • The US and Japanese versions are very different. A lot has been cut out from the Japanese versions because it is to violent to air on American Television. Roughly 19% is cut from each episode!
  • There are 153 Episodes of Dragonball, 291 of Dragonball Z, and 64 Dragonball GT.
  • There are many different ways to spell the names of the characters in the Dragonball series. Did you know Vegeta can also be spelled Vegita, Bejita, or Begita? Crazy isnt it?
  • There are no more series outside of Dragonball, Dragonball Z, and Dragonball GT. There is no fabled Dragonball AF!
  • Goku was the first to reach SSJ, Gohan reached SSJ2 first, and Goku reached SSJ3 and SSJ4 first.
  • The GT in Dragonball GT stands for Grand Tour and the Z in Dragonball Z stands for nothing, it was just put there to make a difference known between Dragonball and the newer Dragonball Z.
