Will Hoge Signs With Atlantic, Releases Second Album

Will Hoge and band signed a contract with Atlantic Records near the end of 2002, at which time Atlantic hastily re-released Carousel, Hoge's first studio effort. Also around this time, Hoge's drummer, Kirk Yoquelet, left the band for reasons unbeknownst to me at this time and was replaced by Keith Brogdon. In addition, keyboardist John Lancaster joined the band, giving Hoge's music an even more dynamic sound.

Hoge's second full-length album, also distributed by Atlantic and entitled Blackbird On A Lonely Wire, hit stores on March 5th of this year to excellent reviews. Articles reviewing the album and Hoge's live performances have appeared in many major publications thus far, including Elle, USA Today, and Jane Magazine. You can read some of these articles here.
