Rant: Darien Lake parking lot I know this is a little bit old but it still irrates me! Okay so I took Erin to see the Coldplay concert. Lots of other people went. They have concerts all the time. They had ONE exit!!! And at the end of the exit there was a stop light!! It took an hour and forty minutes to get from my parking spot (and I was parked second row from the exit) out!!!! It was insane!!! You would figure that they would make more exits so they wouldn't have this much congestion! It was insane. So come on Darien Lake, smarten up. Blah to badly designed parking lots!!!!!!! Rant: Farting Today my rant is about farting. Okay on my way home from my canoe trip this weekend with my family, April and Dad kept farting all the way home. And it smelled soooo bad and it was sooo gross!!!! I mean they could have maybe a little more respect for other people in the car!! EWWWW!!! Please be kind, go check the mail next time you have to fart. So blah to farting!! Rant: Pink Today my rant is about "pink". It bothers me that people think pink is a different colour from red cuz it's not! Pink is only a shade of red. I mean look at baby blue and regular blue. When you ask which colour it is, people say blue. But when you get red and pink (which is the exact same shade difference as baby blue and regular blue) people call them different colours. Pink should be called baby red. It's the same with burgandy, it's the same shade basically as navy blue. So why is red so diverse?! I mean when you look at a red colour chart at a paint store (and we sell paint where I work) pink, red and burgandy are all under red. So blah to pink!! It's baby red!! Rant: Co-workers Today my rant is about co-workers. Some days I want to BASH my head against a wall repeatly!! How can any body work in an environment where people go out of their way to find mistakes that you make? It gets so frustrating!!! You work soo hard and you have a perfect day, you make no mistakes and nobody ever comments. It's almost like when you hear nothing consider it a compliment b/c you won't get any otherwise. And if you screw up and do one thing they jump down your throat! I just wish that people could be more encouraging and uplifting. I have noticed some difference recently though. But for now BLAH to negative co-workers!! Rant: Dumb Boys Today my rant is about dumb boys, now I don't mean this as a rant towards most guys. This rant is for guys who are dumb!!! I just can't handle boys who are just plain mean. I'm talking about boys who hit girls, boys who won't stop to ask for directions (oh wait I do that too lol) and boys who yell at you when there driving by. Why do guys think that making passes at girls is appropriate? I went grocery shopping with Grant the other day on a Friday night and for the first time EVER the offshore workers didn't hit on me. It was awesome I could shop in peace. Is that what it takes these days? I guess I'm just upset more then usual b/c I think a girl at work is in an abusive relationship and I don't know how to tell or what to do. But I have to find out somehow and I just feel so useless/helpless. So BLAH to dumb boys!!! Rant: Insensitivity Today my rant is about insensitivity. I get soo upset when people tell me I'm too sensitive. That's a part of who I am. I am aware I'm sensitive. But what would you like me to do about it? I can't turn it off. That would be like me telling you to stop being so _____ (fill in the blank, jerk, sarcastic, mean whatever) There are times when I am amazed by how rude people can be. I work in retail and the people I have had yelling, being complette jerks to me and other co-workers shocks me. I've had customers make me cry before. I've had family members, friends make me cry. I don't like to cry if a friend hurts me but sometimes I think people don't understand or just plain don't care. And that bothers me. And you know what makes it worse!!! When people are sorry b/c you got hurt, not b/c of what they've done! BLAH TO INSENSITIVIY!! Be nice people!!
