e.g. The doctor whom

·Types of relative clause :
.non- defining relative clause: add extra
information about the head noun.
e.g. Children, who
learn easily, should start school as soon as possible. = all.
2. Defining relative
clause: define the head noun.
e.g. Children who
learn easily should start school as early as possible. =
only.
3. Reduced relative
clause:
_ we can omit the
relative clause when it is not the subject of the sentence.
e.g. I bought the car which
you told me about. ( we can omit)
The car, which
I bought, is expensive.
( we can not omit )
