English Translation
BELISO
An Aragonese surname, native to France, particularly from Brittany.  Its origin is the union of the surnames VAL and LISON  (both French) that were united into VALISON when these families settled in Aragon, Spain.  When members of the Valison family moved to Castile, Spain, it was changed to BALISON (Belison?).  Later, to BELISO (Baliso?) when two more branches went to Central America and the Philippines, as proved in the archives of the Crown of Aragon in the XVII Century.

Shield divided by wood:  1. In field of blue, three bands of silver made of ermine (that is VAL) and  2. In field of blue, three gold fluer-de-lises (fleur-de-lis: flower of the lily) in an orderly configuration (similar to Arms of France).  General border of Silver, with four heads of sable (black) wolf.

BLUE:  Symbolizes:  among the planets, VENUS;  of the Zodiac signs, LIBRA and SCORPION;  of the elements, the AIR;  of the metals, STEEL;  of the precious stones, SAPPHIRE;  of the days of the week, FRIDAY;  of the months of the year, SEPTEMBER and DECEMBER;  of the cardinal virtues, TEMPERANCE;  of the human qualities, INNOCENCE, PIETY, SWEETNESS, FIDELITY, PERSEVERANCE, REWARDS (COMPENSATES), and GRATITUDE.  Those who take this color as field of their arms, had to serve to their sovereigns (sovereign ones), promoting the agriculture (Apples -- Cider was the second most-consumed drink in France (after wine).

Apellido aragones, oriundo do Francia, concretamente de Bretana.  En su origen es la union de los apellidos Val y Lison, (las dos franceses) que se convirtieron al entroncar en Aragon, en Valison y al pasar una rama a Castilla, en Belison y mas tarde ya las dos ramas que fueron a centroamerica y a Filipinas, llevaban el apellido, como Baliso, aun descendiendo do los primeros Val y Lison, como lo probaron en el archivo do la Corona do Aragon en el siglo.

Escudo partido en palo:  1.  En campo de azur, tres bandas de plata sembradas de armino, (que es Val) y  2., En campo de azur, tres flores de lis de oro bien ordenadas.  Bordura general de Plata, con cuatro cabezas de lobo, de sable (negro).

AZUR:  Simbologia:  entres los planetas, Venus; de los sinod del Zodiaco, libra y escorpion; de los elementos, el aire; de los metales, el acero; de las piedras preciosas, el zafiro; de los dias de la semana, el viernes; de los meses del ano, septiembre y diciembre; de las virtudes cardinales, la templanza; de las calidades humanas, inocencia piedad, dulzura, fidelidad, persuverancia, recompensa, y gratitud.  Los que llevan este color como campo de sus armas, debian servir a sus soberanos, promoviendo la agricultura.
