| Israel has many different parts to it that can take weeks, I don't mind putting it up...just email me and tell me. This is what nursery aleph did in one week. |

| Get pictures from the bet hamikdash and show it to the children. Tell them the only part of the building today is the kotel. ** class kotel: take brown paper lunch bags. have the children stuff many of them with newspapers. tape the bag shut and put onto a wall. Each bag is a brick. Make a real live wall. As the children do good things during the day, write it on a paper and put it in the wall. **individual kotels: brown sponge painting . Sprinkle grass for the fun of it. |
| Circle time: pretend to be flying in an airplane. get pictures of the things you would take in a suitcase. pack it together. Make a felt suitcase with stuff in it. .... do the whole airplane 'shpeil' and you can even decorate pictures of airplanes with 'tefilas haderech'. |

| tell the children how much of israel is desert, a place where the sun is strong and there is no water to be found. speak of camels and how they store their water/fat in their humps so they can make long trips across the dessert **paint a dessert scene. either an individual one or a class murel. Mix brown paint with sand and paint with that. make a great big sun for the class murel. ** camels. have the children decorate camels whatever way you can think of. but make a piece for the hump and paint the hump blue. Then add the piece on top of it (staple the top) so the children can pick up the hump and see what is underneath. **read 'kind little rivkah'- talks about camels, dessert and water |
