FRIED CABBAGE

1 Lg cabbage head - shredded coarsely
3 diced scallions
1/2 c finely chopped pecans or walnuts
1 c shredded cheese
1/4 c garlic cooking oil
Warm oil in large covered skillet.  Add cabbage and scallions.
Flash fry on medium heat, stirring often, until cabbage starts to soften.
Add nuts.  Lower heat and cover.  Simmer 10 minutes.
Remove from stovetop.  Cover with cheese.  Bake in 400 oven until cheese melts.
