Stabled at Minuial Hunters May 10th, 2006 - Current
On a trip to the humane society, looking for fresh talent to introduce into MH, this flashy pony marched right up to me and proceeded to search my pockets for treats. I hadn�t really been in the market for a pony, but there was no denying this domineering and pushy girl, and we ended up taking her home the next day. Bossy, elegant, and outright beautiful this mare has touched all of our hearts with her passion and will to live. Even when it seemed hopeless, that she�d be homeless forever, she never lost her dignity or hope; her faith has been amply rewarded. Being sassy and somewhat pushy, you�d think that Nikki would make a horrible horse for a child to ride - that she�d push her rider around and exploit the inexperienced� but she�s not like that at all. In fact, Nikki adores little Robin Bellfriar and instead of torturing the girl, teaches her. They are a perfect match and we can�t wait to see them in action!

Robin is a quiet, withdrawn child who absolutely shines when riding. She has had a love of horses since she was hardly four but has never been able to own one of her own, since her family lives in the suburbs. To bide the time until she could take lessons or get closer to real horses, Robin started collecting and showing Breyer horses. It was this hobby that brought her to MH - Alyssa�s younger sister had been showing her Breyer horses and by chance introduced Alyssa to Robin. After that Robin was a permanent fixture in MH, though she didn�t get a chance to ride until recently, when we adopted Nikki and Purchased our gentle giant Goliath.
