Chase is more than I ever dreamed of when I traveled to London in search of my first horse. The second he entered the sales arena, despite being under-weight and malnourished, I was enraptured by this gentle grey giant. He was unnamed at that point, with relatively unknown parents. But those big brown eyes told a different story; one of heartbreak and courage. I knew then and do to this day, that he was not a horse to be pitied. Even in his terrible condition chase managed to hold his head high and proud, without a trace of regret or longing. That was six years ago, and with plenty of care and patience Chase is finally living up to his potential. In his visit show he swept the competition away, and he�s only improved since then. He�s a very refined stud with an elegance and grace more common in mares; but he pulls it off beautifully with smart, precise jumping and a tender heart. He�s a very special horse, who�s trustworthy enough for a beginner. Chase is one of the most remarkable horses I�ve ever known, and I�m proud to call him my own.

Having lived in suburbia for most of my life the only time I ever really rode for 16 years was on trail rides through the desert in Arizona; but even that was a rare occurrence. But my sophomore year I moved to Montana, and it opened up the doors I�d been pounding on for years. Of course, I didn�t go through lessons until I was seventeen, but have been told I�m a natural. So how did I end up with MH a year later? You see, it�s actually not a very complicated story. Once I graduated I moved to Pennsylvania and one night during dinner my instructor pulled me aside and offered me her entire facility. It was shocking, to the point where I nearly fainted, but she�d been planning on retiring for years but didn�t want just anyone to have the place she�d grown up in. The only thing she asked was that her grandson, Bradley Carson, always have a place at MH; and it was settled.
