Riverside Camping has been a family owned and operated campground since 1970. Beautifully located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley along the South Fork of the Shenandoah River, we are only minutes from the Shenandoah National Park, the George Washington National Forest and Luray Caverns. We have 60 sites, water and electric hook-ups, hot showers, firewood, etc. (state approved) We have evolved into a mostly seasonal campground where people leave their campers here from April to November. We do have several sites along the river for overnight and weekly stays (tents, campers, groups) Call in advance for weekend reservations and low rates. We are just a simple place where people can relax along the river and take life at a slower pace.
We no longer operate a canoe and tube business but will try to arrange a shuttle for you if possible.
Kites Store, a quaint country store (circa 1930) is located next to the campground for your convenience. Register there when you visit us.
