It was summer of 2001 around may I guess , I was going over in my heart about a new room mate my olds ones had moved out and I was seeking God for leading in the right direction as far as what should I do and how.I started to belive God for the money I needed .I pray and thank him for being faith full to his word . He said he would take care of all my needs accroding to his richness and glory I started out with the idea of putting up flyers in the christian book store and on campus at RCC. I made them up and never posted them. I also tryed this thing on yahoo roommate finder or something in that context. Just trying it out to see how it would work . A week or two later one of my old roomates decided to come back and the extra help that I would need would be worked out for rent that is . Well it didn't work that way he came back broke and was sick I still needed to pay my rent telephone ect. Not having a steady job and fluxuating income working threw temp companies the pay min wage . I was still in need of more money . I was driving and my cell phone range it was a voice on the other end asking for Tony only my family call me Tony. I asked who is this? this is Tony because the voice was not familar. Then the voice says do you still have the room for rent , by this time I was shocked I forgot all the thing I put on the internet and I said sure it is how did you find out about it he said over the internet. His name was Reyes he was relocating to Riverside from San Jose . we talked setting up apponitment for the following day 10.30 a.m. He came over on time we met ,I told him it was a christian house and the few rules I had he said okay I told give me an hour . I'll let him know . I went into the bathroom and began to ask God is this okay is he alright is this your will. What should I do. I wanted to be with the will of God when it comes to big choices as this one . I left my to take my old roomamte to get some medicine he was sick . ( This is a statemant on my be half God can heal you without drugs if you have the faith to belive for your healing . I personally go to God for my healing. And I'm bless to say when I get sick thats another page . Back to this testimony as we left my house my pastor pass me by. He saw me and called on the cell and asked what was going on . I had told him the day before I would not be free, that I was going to and temp job Labor Ready. My pastor has his own business and I was working for him as well off and on. when he saw it looked as I was doing something else . He began to ask whats going on and why am I not at work . I ran it down to him about the call and the guy that called looking for the room. That I had prayed about and was seeking God on what to do. As we talked God through my pastor began to minister to me . So I decided to let him move in . He payed on the spot signed a personal agreement between himself and I . This guy was the perfect room mate be gone all day come home at nite go to sleep get up leave do it all over again . Thank you Lord After a week or so his cousin that lived out here called him up with an emergency some had robbed her for a lot of money, as she left the bank. She was a friad to go home so she came over to stay a nite I said fine . The lord is wise as we talked about what happen the spirit of God came over me real strong and bless Reyes wih some truth the God himself wanted to say to him. to make it short God was telling don't be a fool about what happen to his cousin,. She had to been talking and someone knew when she was coming out the bank . The next moring I got a call from the house it was my old roommate saying Reyes was moving out . I asked to speak to him he said he was taking his female cousin to San Jose because my place was to small and she still upset and afraid about what happen. I asked what do you want me to do. His reply was northing I just want to give you your keys back. now at time I'm shocked and bless and humbled . He didn't want his money back didn't ask for it . He said it was a pleasure to meet me I said like wise. Now look at what faith and God had done payed my rent and bought a man from San Jose to do it just to prove him self to me and Bless me God is FAITHFULL that one was a very power full thing he did I glad to share with you he can do the same and more for you if you are truly trusting him and him alone no back up plan just faith in God alone . |
