+++THANK YOU+++

3-9-04.  BIG NEWS ON RIVERS DIVIDED
Well what you are about to read is very important concerning the future of Rivers Divided, and if you are reading this, chances are you are going to like what you are going to read.  We've run into our share of hurdles again, but this will be the last time anything this shitty happens to us.  First off, we decided to take a break until the school year is out so I can finish school, work, and the band havung more than 2 short practices a week.  Once that is over, we plan on getting things moving the best we've ever done.   Also, Chris decided to leave the band for his own reasons and will be persuing something else from now on.  Recently we lost our storage shed at burleigh for reasons we will not discuss, but needless to say it sucks.  So now, we are looking for a new place to practice.  Even though Chris quit, and we are taking a break until the Summer, we are playing a show on Friday March 26th at the Palace in Woodbine.  The show costs 5 dollars and it is right across from the firehall.  Vigo will be throwing that show, so make sure to come out.  It will only be a three piece Rivers playing the show.   We also have a new bassist.  His name is Trevor Ogden.  You all know him, so welcome him warmly.  After the 26th, during our break, we are hoping to maybe get together and record at least one song to put on the garageband.com website we registered, and for something to listen to.

Don't forget...
The Choir Invincible
Stay Down
Maverick
Riding Bikes
At the American Legion in Court House, March 19th.  6 bucks at the door.
Make sure you go to that.

And a special surprise for the real Rivers Divided fans.
The Lyrics for "Keep On Keeping On" written By Morgun James Light (RIP)
We will still be using all of his original lyrics for the songs Rivers Divided wrote with him

"Keep On Keeping On"

Now have you thought
About this life you live?
I'm Never changing.
I can't compare.

Like a Plague of prostitutes
In the house of God,
This is so disgusting
In my eyes.

So what are you waiting for?
Grab your gun.
Why wait?
Grab your gun.

Kill and replace
Re-teach and improve

"I miss you like the desert misses the rain"
Remember that song?
Playing real low?
As I fucked you under the stars

Wrapped in a blanket of hope
Hope that the future wouldn't fade
As quick as your love for me
Countless hours
Countless Victims
Ending in Disease.
