Umpqua River House
This is the front of the house. The large windows look over the houses across the street to view the river.
This a shot of the kitchen.

The back yard with a man made waterfall about 15 feet tall.
Our view from the front window, looking at the river. There is a driveway just to the right of the house across the street that leads to a common area for the residents. Our boat ramp is behind the big tree in the middle.
There is a low dam on the river about a mile downriver from us that has a fish ladder for the salmon and steelhead to get past the dam. There is a cool little viewing room so you can see the fish. The big one in the picture above is a Chinook Salmon and is probably around 45 pounds. The one below is a winter steelhead and is about 12 pounds.
