Spread along miles of the Stillwater River, as it flows through Kalispell, River Park provides some of the valley's  finest outdoor recreation. More than 12 acres of unsurfaced recreation trails weave past picnic areas, playgrounds, fountains and sculptures. The park's landscape ranges from lawns to the rugged terrain of the Stillwater Wilderness Area.
Recreation in River Park includes fishing, rowing, kayaking, miniature golf, putting course, hiking, biking and horseback riding.
During warm weather months, a variety of outdoor events are offered for the public's enjoyment. Entertainment opportunities include concerts, festivals and the state's largest free fireworks display on the Fourth of July.  Park facilities are also available for rental for activities such as runs, company parties, weddings and convention entertainment.
