About Riverfront
Riverfront Apartments is under the Section 42 Tax Credit Program. Read below to find out more.

Section 42 was to designed for low to moderate income households, but should not be confused with low income housing.. With this program there are income and full time student restrictions. With income there is a minimum set by Riverfront and a maximum set by the government. The minimum is based on the size of the apartment and the maximum is set by the number of people in the unit. Every year these income guidelines are evaluated and change only if the cost of living changes. If the cost of living for the area changes enough then the income limits change along with the rents. Rent is based on apartment size and is not  based on household income. Rents cannot increase unless the government guidelines says it can increase.
Full time students can qualify for an apartment if they have one of the following quailfications:
1. Recieve Public Assistance
2. Enrolled in a Job Training Program
3. Married and file a joint tax return
4. Have a dependant that no one else can claim
